12th Meeting at Pragyan Public School Jewar

On 24th September 2018, “Directors and Principals meet” was conducted in Pragyan Public School, Jewar. Dr Biswajit Saha (Director – Vocational & Training C.B.S.E.) was the Chief Guest of this meet. Program was started with lightening lamp and prayer the Goddess of Knowledge Maa Sarswati by chief Guest and members of core committee.

In this Meet approx 50 Schools’ Principals and Directors were present. Cheif Guest Dr Biswajit Shah was welcomed by the member of Core Committee of Sahodya group NCR East. Mr Harish Sharma (Manager – Pragyan Public School) welcomed the Chief Guest and all the members of Sahodya at holy land of Mahrarishi Jawali. Mrs. Sadhna Malik (Principal – Bodhitaru International School) has handled the podium, Mr J.K. Singh (Principal – Kaushalya world School) introduced and welcomed the Chief Guest Dr Biswajit Saha. Mrs Deepti Sharma (Principal – Pragyan Public School) revealed about and functions of the Sahodya. Mrs Gurpreet Singh (Principal –Scholars Home International School) presented the Minutes of Meetings of last Sahodya meeting. Mr. Sandeep Mittal (Director-Alpine Public School, Khurja) presented the report on planning and future of Sahodaya School complex NCR East.

Dr Saha has taken session on “Future of Skill Education in India”. Dr. Saha emphasised specially on how to develop the classroom environment. He discussed about the critical Examination System. He appreciated the Sahodya work that Sahodaya schools exchange and prepare question papers and blue prints for the junior classes also. He focused on feedback assessment practices in classes. He focused to provide Vocational Courses in schools so that after Secondary and Senior Secondary Classes students can get job opportunities. The whole session was very interactive and interesting. Principals asked so many queries regarding vocational courses to Dr. Saha. He replied and satisfied with his answers to each and everyone. At the end, Ms. Gunjan Bansal (Principal, Divine Mother International School) and Ms. Nidhi Gulati (Principal, Alpine Public School, Khurja) presented vote of thanks to Dr. Biswajit Saha for this knowledgeable and sapient session on Vocational Education.
